Charles Sanni holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Economics from University of Jos and University of Lagos respectively and a Master of Business Administration in Management from ESUT Business School.

He is a recipient of the University of Jos scholar award in 1989 and Afribank prize for the best graduating student in Economics in 1990. He has over 22 years of working experience in Treasury Management, Credit & Risk Management, Marketing, and Banking Operations and has worked in various organizations at senior and Management levels in banks and other financial institutions as well as the energy and maritime sectors. His immediate past position was the Managing director/CEO of GTB-AM Pensions Limited.
